A Voice For Battle Ground
I love Battle Ground! It’s an honor to serve you on City Council. Having grown up here, I understand the importance of small-town values and strong community spirit. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished over the last four years; fully funding our police, significantly reducing city debt, critical investments in our roads (with more on the way) and reducing water/sewer bills for low income seniors. There’s still much more work to do and that’s why I’m asking for your support for another term on City Council. My priorities will continue to be fully funding law enforcement, reducing traffic, smarter economic growth, clean drinking water, and improved access to better paying jobs, while keeping our taxes low. With so many challenges in front of us today and families feeling uncertain of the future, we need experienced leaders ready to take bold action to keep Battle Ground a place we are proud to call home. I ask for your vote to keep Battle Ground a great place to live!
Thank You!

"I enthusiastically endorse Cherish Desrocher-Vafeados for Battle Ground City Council. I met Cherish in our work on the Battle Ground Education Foundation. Cherish cares deeply about our community and does the work to prove it. As an incumbent Council Member she has worked diligently on behalf of the city of Battle Ground, and has earned another term. I encourage people to get to know Cherish, and to vote for her in the upcoming election."
Jackie Lane
I have been living in Battle Ground for over 30 years. I’m married, a homeowner, and my nieces say I’m the, “world’s greatest aunt.” My wonderful parents raised me with a passion to serve and the strong moral and ethical values that I have today.
In my free time I’ve volunteered 1000s of hours serving community members experiencing homeless through my nonprofit Food with Friends (The Shower Outreach Project). When I’m not serving, I enjoy playing soccer, sewing, photography, bird watching and gardening.
